Dogwood Alliance is a Southern forest protection non-profit, mobilizing the public and exposing the truth about forest destruction to inspire individuals, communities, corporations, and government to take action while working collaboratively with industry leaders to put innovative business solutions to work that result in more protected Southern forests.
Our local partner for 2013 is Poverty is Real, a non-profit organization that leverages the universal love of music to combat poverty at the local level. PIR organizes and promotes fundraising concerts that raise money for local organizations addressing the issues of poverty and homelessness in their communities.
