Online Activism
To send a message from our online action center to corporate executives and other decision-makers you must identify yourself by name, address, and email address at a minimum. Decision-makers set what information you must provide in contacting them, and Dogwood Alliance collects what the decision-maker requires and includes this information when we send your message. This is necessary for your message to be effective, and in the case of many government officials, they require it.
Other Places Information May Be Requested
In addition to information you enter when sending messages to friends and decision-makers from our website, you may submit information directly to us for purposes including donating, subscribing to an email bulletin, or entering a contest. We will not disclose this information to anyone except to manage our website and database.
Communications from Dogwood Alliance
When you provide Dogwood Alliance with your email address and mailing address, we may contact you. If you have opted to receive any of our publications by email you can unsubscribe at any time by following the directions that appear in the email publication itself or by contacting us.
You control your data. You can view and edit the information we have on file for you anytime. Use our contact portal to make those changes.
