Protect Georgia’s Forests and Communities

Georgia produces and exports millions of tons of wood pellets every year. Producing wood pellets contributes to forest degradation, air pollution, and greenhouse gas emissions. Wood pellet production harms communities of color and those in poverty.

Wood pellets are a poor choice for economic development funds. Georgia must stop handing out taxpayer funding and greenlighting permits for the expansion of the wood pellet industry.

We need Georgians to demand action today.

Send a message to YOUR Georgia legislators.

Ask them to stop the wood pellet industry. Help protect Georgia’s forests and communities.

Your message will be delivered to your Georgia state and federal representatives.
