The rapid spread of data centers is a serious concern. Biomass (burning forests as fuel) has been proposed to power them. It’s important to slow, if not stop, these data centers. They excessively consume water. They degrade the land and clearcut forests. They strain electric grids and raise electricity costs. Noise and air pollution are public health concerns.

Many facilities are being built with little public input. It’s time to protect our communities and the forests we rely on.
